Jim Hodgkins graduated from the University of New Hampshire in 1975 with a BA Philosophy. He began an appraisal career in New England before moving to New Jersey and working as an independent appraiser culminating in founding and ownership of Hodgkins Appraisal Services.

In the early 1990’s, Jim switched career paths and started concentrating primarily on Commercial sales. He has spent 20 plus years predominantly in Union, Middlesex, Essex and Somerset Counties. Jim’s concentration has been in the industrial/warehouse market in New Jersey, which has had unprecedented recent growth. He is now working well outside the port area and its surroundings to include the entire state of New Jersey and beyond into Eastern Pennsylvania and New York State.

Jim primarily works with owners, users, investors and developers who have existing buildings that can be leased or sold “As Is” or who are updating and/or repurposing the existing building. Jim also has experience in land search identifying ideal properties for build to suit development.
